Misonics Pty Ltd (ABN 50 659 454 681) (Misonics, we, us, our) supplies ultrasonic cleaning equipment, cleaning chemicals, filtration products, accessories and spare parts. This policy explains how we deliver. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Nothing in it limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where we deliver
We deliver anywhere in Australia that our carriers serve. Orders placed through the website cart are delivered within Australia only; for delivery outside Australia, ask us for a delivered price and we will quote freight, export documentation and any destination requirements. Chemicals classed as dangerous goods cannot be sent to a PO box or by air, and some remote destinations have longer transit times or need a carrier depot collection.
Dispatch and lead times
Stocked chemicals, filter bags, accessories and spare parts are normally dispatched within 2 business days of cleared payment. Imported and made-to-order goods have the lead time we advise in the quotation or, for a cart order, in the order confirmation; manufacturing time is in addition to transport time. If an advised lead time is more than 14 days, you may cancel the order for a full refund instead of confirming it; once you confirm the lead time, or accept a quotation that states it, the order is binding on that lead time. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Victorian public holidays.
Delivery dates are estimates. We will tell you as soon as we know of a material delay and give you a revised date. If we cannot supply an item, we will refund what you have paid for it and any freight charged for it. Your rights concerning late delivery under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Freight charges
For cart orders the freight charge is shown at checkout before you pay. For quoted goods, freight is itemised in the quotation. Charges depend on destination, weight, dimensions, dangerous-goods handling and the delivery services required. Tail-lift, crane, forklift, restricted-access, remote-area and dangerous-goods surcharges are quoted in advance where we know they apply; we will not add a charge you have not agreed to, other than the redelivery or access costs described below.
Machines and pallet deliveries
Tell us before you order about site access, delivery bookings, dock or forklift availability and any induction requirements. The quotation names the delivery point and who unloads. Unless the quotation says otherwise, delivery is to the kerb or dock at your address and you provide the forklift or crane and the people to unload. Installation, positioning and commissioning are separate services and are included only where quoted.
Where commissioning by us is quoted, do not start the machine or connect it to services before our technician has commissioned it and handed it over; clause 9 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale explains what happens if you do. You must provide safe access and the unloading arrangements you agreed to. If delivery cannot safely proceed, we will contact you to agree another arrangement. Reasonable, documented additional costs caused by incorrect delivery information or by access or unloading that was not as agreed may be charged after we explain them. We do not charge you for a delivery failure that is our fault or our carrier's fault.
If you cannot take delivery within 5 business days of our notice that a machine is ready, we may invoice every amount payable up to and including delivery and, after a further 5 business days, charge reasonable storage at the rate we notify to you.
Tracking and split deliveries
We send tracking or delivery-booking details where the carrier provides them. If an order ships in more than one consignment we will tell you, and we do not increase an agreed freight charge because we chose to split it.
Risk in transit
Where we arrange freight, we are responsible for loss or damage in transit until the goods are delivered to the address you nominated, or unloaded there where unloading is part of our service. Where you collect the goods or use your own carrier, responsibility passes to you when the goods are handed over at our premises.
We do not authorise unattended delivery unless you ask for it and we agree it is suitable for the goods. Chemicals and equipment normally require a signature.
Damaged, missing or incorrect deliveries
Inspect the consignment when it arrives. If there is visible damage or a shortage, note it on the carrier's delivery record, keep the packaging, and contact us within 3 business days with your order number and photographs. Prompt notice lets us claim against the carrier; late notice may limit what we can recover but does not remove any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If we arranged delivery, we deal with the carrier — you do not need to.
Do not operate visibly damaged equipment, and do not handle a leaking chemical container beyond what is needed to make it safe. Follow the Safety Data Sheet and contact us for return arrangements.
Addresses and unsuccessful delivery
Check your delivery address and contact details when you order. If an incorrect address you supplied, or a failure to accept an agreed delivery, causes a return or redelivery, we may charge the reasonable, documented additional freight cost after telling you what it is. No charge applies where the failure is ours or our carrier's.
