Every ferrous part that leaves a cleaning tank is in a race: chemically active bare metal against atmospheric moisture, and the metal loses within hours. Flash rust is not a cleaning failure — it is what clean steel does.

Anti-Rust is the finish line. A dewatering protective applied as dip or final rinse, it displaces moisture and leaves a short-term inhibiting film — parts arrive at assembly, inspection or the next process the way they left the tank.

First aid

  • Inhalation: Remove victim from exposure - avoid becoming a casualty.
  • Remove contaminated clothing and loosen remaining clothing.
  • Allow patient to assume most comfortable position and keep warm.

What dilution and temperature do I run?
2–5% v/v at ambient to 50 °C, 1–2 minutes of contact, and no rinse afterwards — and the trial sets your exact process values against your soil. Running richer than specified wastes chemical without cleaning faster. That range is the chemistry’s window — not the whole answer. The substrate sets its own ceiling, and it is usually lower: aluminium and anodised finishes discolour above about 65 °C, zinc and coated parts lower again, and magnesium is governed by pH before temperature. When do I change the bath?
When cycle times stretch, results fade, or filtration stops holding the debris. Drain, clean the tank, refill — never lay fresh solution over settled sludge.
How long does the protection last?
In-process protection is measured in hours to days between operations — matched to production flow, not storage. Parts holding longer, or heading to storage, step up to a water-displacing film; parts heading to coating need a film compatible with (or removed before) the coating. Tell us the next step and the protection specifies itself.
