We do not run trials as a matter of course. Most jobs are settled
against an application we have already documented, and that advice is free.
Where consultation shows something is genuinely unproven — a
substrate we have not run, a soil nobody has characterised, a standard with no precedent —
a trial is the right answer, and it is done properly.
When a trial is warranted
We agree it is needed Out of the conversation, not before it. If a case study answers the question, that is the answer.
We write the protocol Parts, soil, substrate, chemistry, frequency, temperature and cycle — and the acceptance criteria the result gets judged against, agreed before anything runs.
The protocol is quoted Approved and paid before we start. A designed trial rather than an improvised one.
We run it and report Cleaned parts back, the cycle recorded, and a written result against the criteria we agreed — whichever way it goes.
Credited in full On a purchase order for the machine or the chemistry, the trial fee comes off the invoice.
So it costs nothing if you proceed,
and if you do not, you still own a documented answer about your own parts.
Confidential parts or drawings?
Sign our mutual non-disclosure agreement before you send anything sensitive. It binds both of us, keeps your name out of anything we publish unless you tick otherwise, and lets us write up the process as an anonymised case study.

Why we ask about testing
Most people come to us because they're failing a check — a water break test, a Millipore count, a swab result, or a QA hold nobody can explain.
Knowing which one tells us what the machine has to prove, not just what it has to wash.
