Tank volume is the whole tank, including the pockets that carry the resonators, heaters and platform. Useful volume is the working volume your parts sit in. All specifications — incl. dimensions, ultrasonic power and volume — are confirmed at quotation.

With integrated bunding — grated deck, handrails, screened bay at the load end.

On its own the machine stands on adjustable feet, straight onto your floor. With integrated bunding it stands in a sealed containment bund, with a lift-out grated deck over the top at working height.

Drips off the load, carry-off from the baskets and the wash-down at the end of the shift all go to the bund instead of the floor. The grating lifts out so the bund can be cleaned. Handrails with a mid-rail go on the open sides, and the screened bay at the load end keeps splash off the gangway.

The bund is sized to 110% of the largest vessel. It is quoted with the machine as its own line, ex GST.

This is the signature move: cycle done, the pneumatic platform lifts 500 kg out of the bath and holds it there to drain. No crane booking, no slings, no operator over an open tank — parts come to deck height on the machine's schedule.

The 1500 at a Melbourne rail depot

Not a render and not a factory shot. This is an EVS 1500-PL in daily service at a Melbourne rail depot, cleaning traction and brake components. Lid up, load in, cycle run, load out — one operator, one machine, every shift.

The bath at temperature, the lid lifting, and the operator working straight off the deck — a 1,500-litre tank sized so the parts go in as they come off the vehicle.

Why this machine

Sized and built for heavy contamination

Two metres of powered platform — 2000 × 900 mm — over 1,550 litres: the 1500-PL loads like a machine tool, not a tank. Twelve generators deliver 18,000 watts of 25 kHz, with a 40 kHz build available where finer work shares the duty. The lid is motorised; the platform does everything else.

At 4.1 metres long and 48 kW connected this is plant, and we treat it that way: site survey, services, foundations check, commissioning and operator training in the one quote. HMI/PLC control; weir bath defence.

The elevator platform changes how this machine gets loaded

In most factories, lifting a heavy basket into a tank means booking the overhead crane — the most fought-over asset in the building. The EVS platform ends that: parts go on by trolley, forklift or hand at deck height, the platform lowers them into the bath, and the crane goes back to jobs only a crane can do.

It cleans better — with agitation the platform works the load through the field — and it manages parts better: raise to drain, let drag-out run back, unload on the operator's schedule, not the hoist's.

Ask any operator who has run one: the platform is the feature they will not give back.

Chemistry

Approved chemistry

Chemistry rule: these tanks are approved for the declared chemistry at the declared concentration and temperature. Acid chemistry needs an acid-duty specification. Hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid and pickling solutions are not permitted in the tank; acid processes are only possible by indirect cleaning in a chemically inert secondary container, and only with written Misonics approval.

Questions

Before you specify

What does 'heavy industrial' actually buy over the MSX floor range?
Scale and system engineering: multi-generator arrays, PLC/HMI control with logged programmable cycles, remote diagnostics, an elevator platform rated for loads no operator should touch, and factory oil management sized for genuinely dirty duty. An EvoSonic is a small plant, not a bigger tank.
What is the agitating platform option?
The load platform can oscillate through the cycle — the powered version of the oscillation stage in our process diagram. Heavy baskets clean evenly and blind holes flush instead of trapping soil.
How does the oil management work?
Continuously: the displacement weir takes the surface film, oil capture removes it from circulation, the interceptor catches solids, and stainless filtration polishes the bath — so the solution keeps working for weeks, not days.
What is the remote access for?
An industrial remote-access gateway lets our engineers read the PLC, diagnose faults and adjust parameters over the air — most support calls end without a site visit.
What power and services do these need?
415 V three-phase throughout; connected load runs from ~12 kW at the small end to 136 kW on the EVS 7000. Every quote includes a site-services check before anything ships.
Can they be customised?
Yes — the seven standard sizes cover most duties, and the same engineering delivers custom tanks, platforms and integration when they do not. The TM-series custom builds in our archive are this capability at work.
How do we prove it before committing?
Laboratory trial on your parts first; for production-scale proof we arrange staged commissioning with acceptance testing on your parts. No EvoSonic is bought off a brochure.
