The plant-scale lift tank · heavy industrial

Photographed in service on a customer trial — this machine, doing this work. The bunding views are renders.
Quoted as a working system: machine, services check, chemistry, baskets, commissioning and first recipes — one number, ex GST.
Tank volume is the whole tank, including the pockets that carry the resonators, heaters and platform. Useful volume is the working volume your parts sit in. All specifications — incl. dimensions, ultrasonic power and volume — are confirmed at quotation.

On its own the machine stands on adjustable feet, straight onto your floor. With integrated bunding it stands in a sealed containment bund, with a lift-out grated deck over the top at working height.
Drips off the load, carry-off from the baskets and the wash-down at the end of the shift all go to the bund instead of the floor. The grating lifts out so the bund can be cleaned. Handrails with a mid-rail go on the open sides, and the screened bay at the load end keeps splash off the gangway.
The bund is sized to 110% of the largest vessel. It is quoted with the machine as its own line, ex GST.
Both views are renders of the EVS 1500-PL.
This is the signature move: cycle done, the pneumatic platform lifts 500 kg out of the bath and holds it there to drain. No crane booking, no slings, no operator over an open tank — parts come to deck height on the machine's schedule.
Filmed on a customer production trial — the parts, the cycle and the result are in the band below.
Clips are silent and load only when you press play. All filmed on the same customer trial.
Not a render and not a factory shot. This is an EVS 1500-PL in daily service at a Melbourne rail depot, cleaning traction and brake components. Lid up, load in, cycle run, load out — one operator, one machine, every shift.
The bath at temperature, the lid lifting, and the operator working straight off the deck — a 1,500-litre tank sized so the parts go in as they come off the vehicle.

Two metres of powered platform — 2000 × 900 mm — over 1,550 litres: the 1500-PL loads like a machine tool, not a tank. Twelve generators deliver 18,000 watts of 25 kHz, with a 40 kHz build available where finer work shares the duty. The lid is motorised; the platform does everything else.
At 4.1 metres long and 48 kW connected this is plant, and we treat it that way: site survey, services, foundations check, commissioning and operator training in the one quote. HMI/PLC control; weir bath defence.

In most factories, lifting a heavy basket into a tank means booking the overhead crane — the most fought-over asset in the building. The EVS platform ends that: parts go on by trolley, forklift or hand at deck height, the platform lowers them into the bath, and the crane goes back to jobs only a crane can do.
It cleans better — with agitation the platform works the load through the field — and it manages parts better: raise to drain, let drag-out run back, unload on the operator's schedule, not the hoist's.
Ask any operator who has run one: the platform is the feature they will not give back.
Blocks, heads and housings at truck scale — the documented one-immersion strip.
Final drives, cylinders, undercarriage and GET — wash-bay soils at wash-bay scale.
Whole-core immersion for bundles and radiators — see the case study.
Turbine hardware, filters and exchangers — the sector page covers the duty.
Drawn from the Misonics operating manual and machine specification.
The EVS 1500-PL delivers the ultrasonics and oscillation stages. We quote the matching rinse tank and drying stage alongside the machine — see the multistage guide.
The daily bath for oils, grease and workshop soils — 5% in water, works from warm.
Product, SDS & TDS →Ferrous carbon & paintGrease, rust, scale, carbon and paint off steel and cast iron in one bath — the chemistry the 1.5 mm SS316 tank was built to hold. pH 14, so ferrous only.
Product, SDS & TDS →Precision & approvalsAerospace-approved aqueous for new-manufacture and precision work; 815 QR-NF for MRO carbon.
Product, SDS & TDS →POA is not a brush-off. Tell us the duty and the options, and what comes back is a real number on a real proposal — machine, options, delivery and commissioning to your site.
Each choice becomes a priced line. Not sure? Pick “advise me” and we size it from your duty.
This is what makes the price real — the deposit and the throughput decide chemistry, cycle and filtration.
